My name is Robin Gerlach and I am a Business Management Major at San Diego State University, graduating in May 2007. My relationship with Mitch Thrower was formed through the Professional Business Fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi. Mitch was invited to perform a professional event for our active body in fall of 2005. Unfortunately, our whole active body wasn’t present for his speech. Due to popular demand, we invited Mitch to return in February of 2006 for a larger crowd. Mitch delivered a powerful presentation which demsonstrated useful tactics for becoming successful enrepreneurs and individuals in general.

Mitch Thrower’s charisma drew the interest of nearly 100 SDSU students and friends in an amazing hour presentation covering the topics of his bestselling book, “The Attention Deficit Workplace.” He is co-founder and CEO of Active Network, Inc, a software, marketing and registration powerhouse for participatory sports. Active Network, Inc was named as the 99th fastest growing company by Inc. Magazine. Thrower’s credibility doesn’t just stem from his incredible business know-how, but also his physical feats. He has completed the Ironman Triathlon fourteen times, which is unheard of by many. As amazing as his experiences may seem, he transfers that energy into his presentations, keeping the audience enthusiastically involved and tuned to his underlying message.

I have been a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Fraternity at San Diego State University for nearly four semesters and have heard numerous credible professional speakers. Mitch Thrower is without a doubt the best presenter we’ve invited. Not only are his speaking qualities admirable, but also, his presentation topics were extremely practical for anyone trying to become a successful individual. He has a unique way of transferring his energy and sincerity to every single member of the audience.
