Associate Director of Career Development Center for Extended Learning Point Loma Nazarene University Mr. Mitch Thrower graciously volunteered his time to join us for a recent event that we hosted for our MBA students. Our Get Real event was the first of its kind and we wanted to host an event that would allow students to hear from a panel of experienced executives and entrepreneurs in the community. We were looking for a dynamic panel that would allow students a glimpse into the business world and what it takes to truly persevere. Mitch was the perfect addition to our panel. Mitch was a crowd favorite and many of the students’ questions students were directed at him due to his extensive experience as a leader and entrepreneur. Mitch’s presentation style is incredibly dynamic and the advice and guidance he had for our MBA students was thought provoking and insightful. It was immediately apparent that our students were engaged in Mitch’s story and grateful for his business expertise. Mitch also shared valuable resources with our students that will prove to be extremely helpful in their job search and future careers. I would highly recommend Mitch as a speaker and we are extremely grateful to have had Mitch join us for our inaugural event.
