President Student International Business Council University of San Diego I am writing in recommendation of Mr. Mitch Thrower. I have worked with Mr. Thrower on various occasions at the University of San Diego. He is very active in his collaboration with the Student International Business Council and has been a tremendous asset to our team. Mr. Thrower is a graduate of the University of San Diego Master’s in Business Administration program and has had a presence on campus since his graduation. For the Student International Business Council, which is an on-campus organization devoted to developing future leaders through a speaker series and projects with business leaders, such as Mr. Thrower. We are currently working with Mr. Thrower in his newest endeavor, Project Active. This non-profit organization is designed to relieve world tensions through sport and sports-related education. Mr. Thrower planned three areas that our council can help with this project: marketing, web-site design and financial planning. He is dedicated to helping our members learn how to effectively maximize the project’s potential in these three areas. Our council is very excited about collaborating on this project and our members always speak very highly of Mr. Thrower. In fact, because of the incredible amount of respect that our council members have for Mr. Thrower and the impact that this project could have on creating peace, we have chosen it to be the official charity for our annual golf tournament. Mr. Thrower has also spoken to our council several times on various topics. On November 14th, he presented his “Business Strategy Secrets” to an overflowing conference room full of students. In this presentation, he outlined ten tips that he would suggest to maximize one’s potential. The presentation was amazing and many of our members approached Mr. Thrower to thank him for his insights. He is a powerful speaker with unbelievable interpersonal skills. He relates well with university students and I have only heard positive things about Mr. Thrower. Our council is looking forward to working with Mr. Thrower on future projects, enjoying his words of wisdom at speaking events, and continuing to build our relationship. Mr. Thrower is a hard-working, dedicated and ethical individual who has had a great impact on our council and university. We are very fortunate to have Mr. Thrower’s support and guidance.
